Olhares do Mediterrâneo – Women’s Film Festival promotes films made by Mediterranean women, or women working in the Mediterranean countries. The Festival aims to give visibility to the role of women in filmmaking, promoting their work and encouraging creative exchange with the film industry professionals in Portugal.

The 9th edition focused on the mediterranean country of Lebanon. So as part of Olhares do Líbano - Special Programme Lebanon, and as a Lebanese researcher in Portugal, I was invited to take part in a Q/A after the film screening of Beirut: Eye of the Storm (Mai Masri · LB, FR · Doc · 2021 · 75’).
